EU blocks China panel request over price comparison methodologies (PRIV)

A request for establishment of a panel by China to examine measures imposed by the European Union related to price comparison methodologies in anti-dumping proceedings was blocked by the EU at a meeting of the WTO Dispute Settlement Body (DSB) on Tuesday. At issue in the dispute is whether China can continue to be treated as a non-market economy beyond the 15-year period since its accession to the WTO.
