Trade : US transparency proposal criticised at WTO Goods Council (PRIV)

The United States proposal, setting out stringent procedures on transparency and notification requirements under the WTO Agreements including penalties, was criticised at a meeting of the WTO Goods Council on 10 November by over a dozen WTO Members, both developed and developing.

Climate : Addressing "equity" in global stocktake under the Paris Agreement (PRIV)

On 11 Nov, Parties to the UNFCCC's Ad hoc Working Group on the Paris Agreement (APA) had an interesting exchange on how equity can be operationalized in the global stocktake (GST) that will take place in 2023.

Pacific Islands : Climate change poses alarming threat to food security (PRIV)
