Trade : China calls for common front on US S.301 measures (PRIV)

China has called for a common front again st the United States at the World Trade Organization for fighting the "unilate ralism and protectionism" unleashed by Washington through its "crowbar trade measures" under Section 301 of the US Trade Act of 1974, according to peopl e familiar with the development.

Trade : Compliance panel set in India-US carbon steel dispute (PRIV)

The Dispute Settlement Body (DSB) of the World Trade Organisation (WTO) on 27 April agreed to establish a panel, at the request of India, to determine compliance by the United States with an earl ier WTO ruling in the dispute over US countervailing measures on certain hot-ro lled carbon steel flat products from India.

Climate : What to expect at the Bonn talks (PRIV)

The inter-session climate talks under the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) will kick start in Bonn, Germany, from 30 April to 10 May.
