Trade : AB issues ruling over Airbus subsidy compliance (PRIV)

The Appellate Body (AB) of the World Trade Organisation (WTO) on 15 May confirmed that the European Union and four of its Member States (France, Germany, Spain and the United Kingdom) have fail ed to fully comply with an earlier WTO panel ruling that had called for an end to the illegal subsidies provided to the European aircraft manufacturer Airbus in relation to the design and development of large civil aircraft (LCA).
