Trade : EU, US poised for combined assault on China's trade policies (PRIV)

The European Union and the United States seem to be ganging up against China for a combined assault on Beijing's tra de policies, after closing ranks on some bilateral issues, according to people familiar with the development.

Climate : Developing countries oppose renegotiation of Paris Agreement (PRIV)

Developing countries strongly opposed attempts to renegotiate the Paris Agreement (PA) at the re cently concluded climate talks in Bangkok, given attempts by developed countries t o block references to differentiation between developed and developing countr ies in the negotiating text being drafted to implement the PA under the PA Work Programme (PAWP).
