Capacity-building efforts are needed to redu ce the digital and data divides between and within countries, particularly tho se relating to youth, the rural economy, micro-enterprises and small and medium-sized enterprises, and gender, according to the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD).

Bolivia : An indigenous nation battles for land and justice (PRIV)

The ancient Qhara Qhara nation began a battle against the State of Bolivia in defence of its rich ancestral lands, in an open challenge to a government that came to power in 2006 on a platform founded on respect for the values and rights of indigenous peoples.
