World Health Organization (WHO) Member States continue to strive for consensus on the transparency resolution initiated by Italy and by now co-sponsored by Egypt , Greece, Italy, Malaysia, Portugal, Serbia, Slovenia, South Africa, Spain, T urkey, India, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Eswatini, Russia, Andorra and Luxembourg.

Member States at the 72nd World Health Assembly adopted a resolution on antimicrobial resistance (AMR), reiteratin g their commitment to urgently address AMR in recognition of the emerging pub lic health threat of the loss of treatment options.
