A United Nations independent fact-finding mission on Myanmar has called on the international community to sever ties with Myanmar's military (also known as the Tatmadaw) and the vast web of companies that it controls, and for the UN Security Council and Member States to immediately impose targeted sanctions against these military-run companies.
