COVID-19 : Global tourism sector set to lose at least $1.2 trillion (PRIV)

The world's tourism sector could lose an estimated $1.17 trillion or about 1.5 per cent of global Gross Domestic Product (GDP) as a result of a standstill of nearly four months in international tourism due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the UN Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) has said.
