The United States came under intense pressure on 19 March for failing to implement the rulings issued by the Wor ld Trade Organization's dispute settlement system (DSS) as well as for blockin g the selection process for filling vacancies in the Appellate Body, as demanded by Colombia on behalf of 130 countries, said people familiar with the developm ent.
