UN : HRC establishes expert group on Belarus, extends several other mandates (PRIV)

The United Nations Human Rights Council (HRC) has adopted resolutions urgently establishing a group of three expert s on the situation of human rights in Belarus, as well as extending the mandates on the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, Syria, Ukraine, Haiti, and Mali.

The UN Human Rights Council (HRC) has condemned in the strongest possible terms the human rights violations and a buses and violations of international humanitarian law resulting from the Russian Federation's aggression against Ukraine.

UN : HRC expresses grave concern over worsening gang violence in Haiti (PRIV)

The UN Human Rights Council (HRC) has expressed grave concern that the worsening of the violence perpetrated by t he armed gangs that control most of the capital Port-au-Prince and parts of se veral towns in the provinces of Haiti, is creating a situation of alarming insecu rity in the country.
