3RD MINISTERIAL IN US, DATE STILL TO BE DECIDED

Geneva, 20 May (TWN) -- The World Trade Organization agreed Wednesday to hold its next ministerial conference in the United States, but left the date to be set by the General Council.  

At a press conference after the meeting, WTO Director-General Renato Ruggiero said he expected this meeting in the third quarter of 1999.
